“Every human has about three billion base pairs in his or her DNA—far too much data to analyze with a simple Excel spreadsheet. That’s where Tute Genomics’ cloud-based genomic interpretation software comes in.
The software helps to bring about precision medicine by offering a cloud-based solution for genome-guided medicine. The platform assists researchers in identifying disease genes and biomarkers, as well as assists clinicians and labs in performing genetic diagnoses and personalized therapeutics.
The platform works by identifying differences in sequenced genomes. These variants are then matched against an unprecedented repository of over 200 public and private data sources—more than any other genome interpretation software—and scoring algorithms to see which have been associated with disease in the past. Next, the software creates a summary report prioritizing clinically-relevant variants, giving healthcare professionals the ability to use that information to deliver personalized treatment.
