Introducing ‘Expert Review’ by Tute Genomics, a new, supplementary service to our precision medicine platform that provides the necessary decision support to ensure you interpret variants faster and solve challenging cases sooner.
Expert Review is a manual review of individual variants by Tute Genomics MD and PhD Geneticists along with our expanding network of genetic professionals. As part of the Expert Review service, our genetics experts will prepare a supplemental report for your selected variant(s) which includes, where possible, key relevant literature, manual searches in niche gene-level and disease-level databases, as well as a written assessment of the variant’s classification per the latest ACMG guidelines.
How to Request Expert Review
To request Expert Review of a variant, visit the “Variants” tab of an annotated sample. Check the box under the “Details” column for the specific variants for which you would like to order an Expert Review. A dialogue will appear in the bottom right corner of the window reading “NEW: Expert Review for [#] Variants”. Click the button, and confirm your request in the modal window. You will soon receive an email summarizing your request.
