Tute Genomics New Features Version 1.2 May 2014

The Tute team is continuing to bring you and your organization the best genetic annotation and analysis software. Over the past month our team has been working hard to complete feature requests and add powerful functionality to our #1 web-based tool. We would like to update all users on the development progress that Tute Genomics has had over the past few weeks. The Tute team is excited to announce the following new features and updates for the second half of the month of May:

  • Advanced Genome Data Visualization:
    • Matrix Plot - Tute now includes a Matrix Plot for Case-Control Studies.
    • Venn Diagram - When studying multiple samples, Tute provides a visual Venn Diagram which represents all common variants of each studied sample.
  • The Tute Platform now features over 125 annotations! Now including:
    • Clinical Trial Databases - Tute now provides information on any related clinical trial for specific genes in your sample. Tute includes information from ClinicalTrial.gov NCT ID and the trial’s corresponding link, the entity that initiated the study, phase information, overall status, primary completion date, brief title, and more.
    • Drug Databases - Tute provides drug information, including the DrugBank accession number and the link, drug name, drug type (small molecule or biotech), protein or compound type (target, enzyme, transporter, or carrier) and drug group information (approved, experimental, nutraceutical, Illicit, or withdrawn).
    • Mendelian Disease Information - If there is a Mendelian Disease associated with any gene containing variant(s) in the sample studied, Tute provides the Mendelian Disease identifier and it’s specific link, disease type (recessive, dominant, X-linked, etc), and more.
    • Biosystem Pathway Information - Tute provides all information about all Biosystem pathways involved in your samples. Tutes Biosystem Pathway annotations include Biosystem ID, Biosystem name, conserved Biosystem ID, linked Biosystem ID, similar Biosystem ID, source database, Accession number, type of Biosystem and description.
